Where: Hansen Fieldhouse Parking Lot, Waldorf College, Forest City, IA

Description: Three loops, each 3K in length, will be marked for walkers and runners for a total of 9K (5.58 miles). Individuals may choose to do one, two, or all three loops. The wag portion of the event is to welcome participants to bring their pets.

In its 5th year, the 3K3 Walk-Run-Wag event is brought to you by Kristi Carlson, Kristi Leonard and Kristi Osheim – the 3K’s of Waldorf College! We have mapped out a 3K route then multiplied it by 3 (3K3). You may choose to run (or walk) just the 3K or add the second and/or third loop for a total of up to 9K. Walk, run or bring your pet(s) along to wag.

This is the 5th year for the event and we very humbly announce that this run will be dedicated to the memory of Charlotte Fredrickson, former longtime Waldorf employee and Forest City resident, who recently died of cancer.

The cost is affordable – just $10 for students and $15 for adults. With that registration you get a cool, commemorative, tangerine t-shirt and all monies go directly to support the local American Cancer Society and Winnebago County Relay for Life.

The brochure is attached or you may stop by the Waldorf Athletics department on 2nd floor of Hanson Fieldhouse and pick one up. Spread the word – tell your friends and family – and join us on April 18th, for this very worthy cause. We appreciate your support in our fight against cancer.
