New route this year was a flat alternative to the previously hilly route! It was nice! I was disappointed that they ran out of t-shirts (especially since we preregistered)…something was wrong the the planning, the order, and/or the vendor. There was a table piled with 2XL shirts but nothing else. They did take names and phone numbers to try to fix the situation when they get a new order but a St. Pat’s Day shirt after St. Pat’s Day doesn’t really help. The previous location was better suited for post-race activities…lines were way too long for refreshments and it wasn’t really big enough of an area to accomodate the awesome crowd. I also couldn’t find any porti-potties…we used the restrooms at the Radisson and the River Center. It was great to be able to hang around for the QC St. Pat’s Parade afterward. I think a little tweaking with the pre- and post-race set up will help. It is a fun event!
