Sweet Corn Festival 5K. We are committed to making this Central Iowa’s premier 5K road race. The 5K run will precede the Sweet Corn Festival’s Parade and Festival. Last year, the combined event drew more than 10,000 people! The last half mile of the 5K will be run on the parade route in front of thousands of spectators. The Sweet Corn Festival 5K is open to all runners and walkers.

Pieathlon

It’s an event similar to a triathlon but with pie instead of stopwatches. You might think of it as a “Tri a la mode”. The Pieathlon is a party during which registrants can choose one or two or three eventsand have a slice of homemade pie while they enjoy friends, family and Iowa hospitality:
