Description: We welcome people of all ages and abilities to celebrate this tradition with us as part of the annual Sweet Corn Festival weekend.

The 5K race course begins at the school, east on 42nd, north on police-secured Ushers Ferry Road, up North River Blvd to Aegon, through the parking lot, and cruises down 42nd to finish back at the school.

The 10K is ~2 loops of this, with the 2nd loop starting at the corner of 42nd and Usher’s Ferry Rd.

Where: Coralville Dam to Downtown Iowa City, 151 S. Dodge St (College Green Park), Iowa City, IA 52240

Distance: 10k

Description: Given that the race is point to point, buses will be available to transport runners to the start of the race. Buses depart between 6:30 and 7:15 AM. You may park your vehicle on the street or in the parking ramp two blocks east of College Green park. Of course, if you have arrangements to get back out to the dam after the run (or if you want to have twice the fun and run back) then you can leave your car at the dam. Parking will be available in the spillway near the west end of the dam.

The course begins at the West end of the Coralville Dam. Runners will head East off of the Dam and then down Prairie Du Chein Road. The course is rolling and scenic and finishes at College Green Park which is located just East of downtown Iowa City.

Cash prizes will be given to the overall TOP 3 male and female runners. 1st place is $200, 2nd place is $150, and 3rd place is $100. Also, medals will be awarded to the top 2 male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+.

Description: Race for GRACE is a 10K and 2-Mile Family Fun Run with proceeds to benefit the GRACE Foundation (Grand Island Area Cancer Endowment). Proceeds will help local cancer patients and their families in their fight with this deadly disease. 10K course is being adjusted from last year to be of standard 10K length.

Description: All race participants will be given a FREE day pass to the facility the day of the race. The Emmetsburg Public Library will be open the day of the Race. (Located across from the Wellness Center.)  Fresh fruit and bagels will be available to every participant.  Shower & Toilet Facilities: All facilities are available at the Arthur and Audrey Smith Wellness Center.

Awards will be handed out at the conclusion of each race in the Arthur and Audrey Smith Wellness Center Gymnasium.  Trophies will be awarded to the overall men and women.  Medals will be awarded for first place, second place and third place finishers in each age division.
