Distance: 7 Miles and 2.5 Miles

Description: To help raise funds for flood recovery and to raise awareness for the rebuilding effort, a 7-mile run and a 2.5-mile walk were planned as part of the flood’s one-year anniversary commemoration. Called Cedar Rapids Run the Flood, the race route was designed to cover both business and residential areas, giving runners a firsthand look at the devastation that still remained and the rebuilding that had begun.

Distances: 5 Mile Schwinn Air Dyne Bike followed by a 2.5 Mile Run or 1.5 Mile Walk on the indoor track.

Details: Team or individuals can sign up.  Participants will complete in heats of 8 individuals per heat.  Heats will start every 30 minutes from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Description: Registration begins at 8:00am for both the 2.5 mile and 7.5 mile races beginning from Wahlert at 9:00am. First place finishers in each age division win a frozen turkey.
