Finish at Nollen Plaza in downtown Des Moines. Buses leave from the Polk County Convention Complex, 501Grand Avenue, to Saylorville Dam from 5:15 to 6 a.m. Transportation is only available prior to the race. There are no return buses to the dam site after the race. Bus transportation is included in the entry fee.

Description: Dam to Dam is Iowa’s Distance Classic and ranks as one of the best long distance races in the USA.

Please join the largest 20 kilometer in the nation from Saylorville Dam to downtown Des Moines.

The 5 kilometer gives everyone an opportunity to participate in Dam to Dam and now ranks as the largest in Iowa.

The free youth runs are Olympic distances of 100, 200 and 400 meters.
