Description:8K Run and 4K Family Fun Run/ Walk.  Awards presentation starts at 10:30am at Vernon Middle School.  Participants will receive the ever-popular long-sleeved Turkey Trot t-shirt and a free pancake breakfast.  8K run winners receive a Turkey and Pumpkin Pie.  Age division winners receive a Medal & Pumpkin Pie.

Fun Features of the Day:

  • Participants have the option of signing up as a “pair” to run the race together or as a relay exchange
  • Participants are encouraged to dress up as famous pairs.
  • Refreshments and bakery items provided by Panera Bread.
  • Everybody who registers will be entered into a raffle to win fun door prizes.
  • There will be a special guest appearance from Cy the Mascot!

Costs:

  • Race registration before October 24, 2010 = $20.00 (includes race T-shirt)
  • Race registration after October 24, 2010 = $25.00 (includes race T-shirt)
  • Additional t-shirts are available for $10.00
  • Additional charge of $2 for Adult XXL and $3 for Adult XXXL

Distance: 4 mile and 4K (2.5 mile)

Description: Each course is out-and-back in opposite directions. The 4K race is all paved and great for beginners or short distance, as the 4 mile course runs on gravel trails and paved path for a higher challenge.

$100 cash prize to top overall male and female finisher of each race. Special prize for most patriotic-dressed participant along with awards for top 3 in each age and gender division.

$20 before 6/25 and $25 after 6/25
Shirts guaranteed by 6/14
