Distance: 5K

Description: This non-timed FREE, yes, FREE fun 5K run is held on the Rockwell Collins C Avenue campus and the Noelridge Park trail. Runners, walkers and dogs welcome! Door prize drawings will be held after the event–must be present to win. IF you want to purchase a tshirt, you may order one before Dec. 15 with the registration form. History will repeat itself and they will be tye-die short sleeve shirts again. Go ahead, commit and register today!

AIB Jingle Jog

Where: The race starts and ends at the south entrance of Gray’s Lake in Des Moines, Iowa

Description: Jingle Jog, hosted by the AIB College of Business, will consist of a 2 or 4 mile run/walk around Gray’s Lake, Des Moines, Iowa. Prizes will be awarded to 1st , 2nd , and 3rd place in age groups and by gender. Long-sleeved shirts, jingle bells, and food will be guaranteed to all that preregister. Award ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30AM for both the 2 and 4 mile races (Check-in on day of race 7:30 to 8:15 A.M.)

Rotary Lights 5K

Distance: 5K

Description: Take a twilight run through Riverside Park lit with two million lights to celebrate the holiday season. The run continues on the trail along the La Crosse River and then loops back to finish through the lighted tunnel in the park. Enjoy hot chocolate after the run at the awards ceremony in the heated tent in the middle of the Rotary Lights display.

Santa Sprint 5K – Race For Relay

Description: The 3rd Annual Santa Sprint 5K: Race For Relay is an annual fundraiser for the Spink County Relay For Life. Registered participants will receive a free Santa hat, water bottle, and race t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to overall and age-group winners, and special awards will be given for the most donations raised for the American Cancer Society and the best holiday-themed costume. Join us for the post-race pasta feed following the awards ceremony.

Jingle Bell Run Walk – Ames

Where: Brookside Park (Maple Shelter)- 1325 6th Street, Ames,IA

Distances: 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

Description: This is a fun festive event for the whole family! Put on your reindeer antlers and your running shoes and come join us for some holiday cheer. 5K start time- 9:15am ; 100 yard “Reindeer Dash” for kids ages 3-10 start time- 9:30am; 1-mile fun run start time- 9:45am. Race course starts at Brookside Park and finishes at Kosama Ames- 546 Main Street.

After the race participants will enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat pancake breakfast, a health/informational expo, kids activity area, facility tours, Olde Main Brewery beer tent, raffle drawings and much more!
All registered participants will receive a Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis t-shirt and goodie bag.
Packet pick-up will be on Friday December 9th from Noon-7pm at the Ames Racquet and Fitness Club- 320 S. 17th Street in Ames.
All proceeds from the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis will go to the Arthritis Foundation and the over 600,000 adults and 2,800 children in Iowa who have arthritis- that’s 1 in 5 Iowans suffering!

Santa’s Snow Shuffle
