Where: Race starts at Eagle Point Park, Clinton IA.

Distance: 5K

Description: The course will be entirely within Eagle Point Park on approximately 2 miles of rolling paved park roads. One mile of the race passes by over 40 major displays and over 500,000 lights. The second mile winds through the most northern loop of the park which overlooks Lake Clinton on the mighty Mississippi. These views provide a truly unique running experience.

Turkey Trot 5K Prediction Race

Where: Race starts at Iowa V.A. Medical Center, 1515 W. Pleasant St., Education Building 173, Knoxville, IA. (take first entrance west of the VA Flagpole drive, or 1st entrance east of Willets Dr/Graceland Cemetary)

Distance: 5K

Description: Prizes awarded to those closest to predicted time for the 5k course, run or walk, with top prize being the coveted turkey, and other prizes being components of Thanksgiving Dinner. No timing devices allowed (including calendars for the slower folks!) for the competitors. Event is held regardless of weather. The route will be quite flat and fast.

Distance: 6 Mile and 4 Mile and 2 Mile

Description: This is a non-competitive free event so you can invite your friends and family to join in. Meet at the Boat ramp at Lake Zorinsky. The distance is approximately four miles (or you can go further). This is a great way to start the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Lally Turkey Trot for Education

Where: Take Hwy 30 East of Denison, follow the signs for Yellowsmoke Park. There will be additional signs to the location of registration. Denison, Iowa

Description: The 2mile and 10k will begin in the campgrounds, head towards Tuckers, turn around with the 2mile finishing at the campgrounds and the 10k continuing around
the park and finishing back at the campgrounds. The kids’ race will take place after the 10k is
complete.
