- Pick out your running clothes with style in mind. Clothes that match are a good choice, but also keep in mind, you will probably sweat. There’s nothing worse than sweat stain highlights in your finishing photo.
- If there are professional photographers on the course, make sure your bib is visible. Many times, they will post the photos based on your bib number and you’ll want to be able to find yours.
- As soon as you spot the photographer make sure that you are actually “running”. It may help to weave out of the crowd of other runners, look towards the camera, and wave if you’d like. BONUS: kick a slow motion sprint towards the photographer to ensure a bad-ass look.
- If the race doesn’t have professionals, have your friends and family who come to support bring a camera. Plan ahead and agree on meeting spots throughout the course.
