Course: An 8.8 mile route from Westdale Mall to Lindale Mall (or Lindale to Westdale, rotating every year. Route will include the Cedar Rapids Kernels ballpark and Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Go to www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=266563
for exact route. The route will be open to traffic so use sidewalks where appropriate.
No timing devices including IPODS are allowed.
Walkers and runners will start at 8:00.
Official timing and course closes at 10:30am

A change of pace where speed means nothing! You could walk this thing backwards and win if you knew just how fast you can walk! If you have never done a perdiction race this is a fun event. The course is interesting and the food afterwards was great! Thanks cookie ladies!
Another great race this year. I think I’ve started a tradition of parking the car at the finish and doing a warm up run to the start. The post race food and prizes are always good. My only complaint would be a couple more water stops along the way, especially with a hot, sunny morning.
I love this race b/c you don’t have to be fast to win. I was only 48 seconds off (too slow) this year and I’m blaming it on my Hardees restroom stop. Ah, maybe next year.
