The run went very well today. I wasn’t sure what to except since this was my first MVRA (Mississippi Valley Running Assoc.) sponsored race. The running group did a great job with everything. The route was flat and hilly. Huge hills b/t miles 7-10 in Eagle Park but it was really nice and changed it up enough to keep you interested. Great views of the Mississippi River! Definitely recommend it next year.
Post race had cookies, fruit, Gatorade, green tea, pretzels and a DJ. The times were posted very fast. Plenty of restrooms and even a shower option at the near by pool.
Great event!
Flat and fast. Run on concret and blacktop. Good start. Well run race. Good music and program afterwards. Usually very good food with yogurt and bagels and fruit.
