Durant Dusk Hustle

Where: JayCee Park, Durant, IA

Distance: 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run/ Walk, and Kid’s Block Run

Description: We will offer a kids’ block run, 1 mile family fun run/walk, and a 5K run, all starting at JayCee Park.  After the race, stay for Firemen’s celebration activities.

    This small town race is well done. Course is flat and run through town. Usually very warm and humid. You must watch the pavement as there are many poor spots. Race starts with the Star-spangled banner, a big plus in my book! This race is well supported by locals and has a warm friendly feel. Short program afterwards. Fruit and cookies. Always fun to run in that it is at dusk and on Friday night. For those runner s who cant do just one, this race works out very nicely.
