Frostbite Foot Race 8K

Saturday, January 14th, 2012, 1:00pm

Where: Scott County Park, Eldridge, Iowa

Description: A beautiful run through scenic Scott County Park, near Eldridge/Parkview, Iowa. This is an 8k run (approx. 4.8 miles) with gentle rolling hills. The roads are always well cleared. Starts at Whispering Pines pavilion, just inside the park. There will be shirts, snacks, hot cider, awards and great door prizes, including bikes. Please sign up early to receive a shirt.

    Well-organized event, hilly route, nice scenery, cleared roads, great door prizes, 5 year age group break downs with cool trophies to 3rd place in each age group, hot apple cider afterward…overall great winter run!

    Good event. The roads were well cleared and it was a well run race. The shelter is inviting and the crowd energetic and happy to have a winter run. Good restroom facitities. Plenty of parking
