Description: All proceeds are donated to the BCIG Scholarship Foundation, supporting BCIG graduate post secondary education since 1994.

Races begin and end in downtown Ida Grove. The 5K and 10K participants enjoy our scenic Pleasant Valley Trail on a majority of the course. The Pleasant Valley Trail is a recreation trail that surrounds the town with paved trail with many entrance points. The trail passes through or near most parks in the area, and runs near the BCIG Elementary, BCIG High School, Ida Grove Community Recreation Center, the nine-hole Golf and Country Club, and the outdoor swimming pool.
