Description: The Black Hills Trail Series emphasizes personal achievement and the joy of exercise in the outdoors, in a relaxed and fun setting. We clearly mark the trails, record all finish times, and post the results on our web site. We award points in Men/Women Divisions with two age groups: Open Division, 39 and under; and Masters Division, 40 and older. We keep a running total of the accumulated points and present awards at the end of the series in November. We do not present awards for the winners of each individual race, however, we provide a few prizes for noteworthy runs, and have drawings for door prizes.
