It was a fun race. The route was tough but not too tough. It was well organized but post race activities had a lot to be desired. They started announcing race winners and drawing for prizes when half the crowd was outside. We could not hear names or numbers of the winners in line. Also when my group went through the food line, we didn’t get enough meat to fill the bun. I think they were running low on pork. All in all, we had a good time.
fun and yes very challenging course thru Platte State Park. Some issues this year but it sounds like the popularity of the run (last minute registrations) might have been the culprit! Great turn out and place for an early spring trail run.
