The Elma Old Roundhouse Trail Days 5k was extremely well organized. The people were friendly and accommodating, and the trail was awesome to run on…paved and flat! Water stations were located along the way, and timers were at the 1 and 2 mile marks to let runners know how they were doing. There was a wonderful pancake breakfast after the run that was included with registration cost. I will definitely run in this race next year! Elma is also having a fall run in October. I look forward to participating because of the great experience I had at the Old Roundhouse Trail Days 5k.
The Elma Old Roundhouse Trail Days 5k is one of the most orginized runs that we go to. I have participated in all 4 so far, and it seems to get better evey year. The new paved trail was a joy to run on and having Trekman Racing doing the timing really moved things along at the end. One big plus is the pancake breakfast put on by the Sportsman Club. They can really be proud of the job they do. I would recommend this race for every one, especially people new to running. The course is one of the flatest ones out there and ia a great beginners course.
