This was my 3rd triathlon, first Pigman and I was impressed. This was a well organized event, even with the large crowd. The time trial swim start is very nice, you have some room between people. The transision area was set up good and all volunteers were helpful and encouraging. I liked the bike course, and the run course was good as well. I will definately do it again
This was my first time doing a triathlon and I was very impressed with the organization of the event. Being a newbie, I was really nervous about where to go and how to get set-up. The volunteers were extremely helpful and the course was scenic being located mostly in the park. Traffic was heavy at some points but I guess that is to be expected when you have to cover 15 miles of course route. I would recommend this to any first timer or veteran. Great all around event.
The new format for the swim start worked great. From what others were saying it was a lot better than a wave start for non-elites.
Can’t wait to do it again next year!
