Summerfest Charity Run – La Harpe

Where: LaHarpe Christian Church, 200 East Main Street, LaHarpe, IL 61420

Distance: 7 mile walk; 2 mile run; 2 mile walk

Description: Challenge yourself to a 7 mile run or a 2 mile walk/run. We will start at LaHarpe Christian Church, take a scenic cruise around the reservoir and find some hills to raise your heart rate before finishing at the church for a pancake and sausage breakfast sponsored by the Carpenter’s Crew. The proceeds of the 2010 Summerfest Run/Walk will be donated to Adam and Sara Wright who are working in Namibia to supply clean water systems.

Register before August 1 to guarantee a t-shirt on race day. Medals will be awarded to the top two male and female finishers of each race. Awards ceremony will begin at 9 a.m., with door prizes following the ceremony.
