Sweet Corn Festival 5K – Adel

Where: N 11th and Court St. Adel, Iowa

Description: The race takes place on the scenic brick streets in Adel along the parade route in front of hundreds of spectators. It is exciting to watch the streets come alive as the community celebrates a small town Iowa festival.

After the Adel Sweet Corn Festival 5K run, stick around for one of Iowa’s largest parades. Then head to Adel’s town square for free delicious Deardorf Sweet Corn. The festival is complete with fantastic food vendors and live entertainment for the entire family. The Adel Sweet Corn Festival wraps up with a kickin’ beer garden and live band. Join us August 11th, 2012 at 8:00 AM for an electrifying race and family friendly street festival.

    This is a well-organized run that runs through the streets of Adel. It’s usually HOT, so hydrate. And be prepared for the sweet corn. All you can eat. Delish!
