Description:  The course will be entirely within Eagle Point Park on approximately 2 miles of rolling paved park roads.  One mile of the race passes by over 40 major displays and over 500,000 lights.  The second mile winds through the most northern loop of the park which overlooks Lake Clinton on the mighty Mississippi.  These views provide a truly unique running experience.

One Review of “Symphony of Lights 5K”

This race is an amazing idea. Running through a park with thousands upon thousands of Christmas lights. It was a gorgeous sight. Here’s my only suggestion to make this race better next year: Either let us park in the park near the lodge where the start and finish of the race is at (at least the first 50 of us that arrived early) OR have a shuttle from the outside of the park to the lodge. Other years walking from the outside of the park to the lodge to get your packet might not be so bad, however this year it was raining so we were all super wet before even starting the race and freezing. It would also be nice to have a packet of goodies/freebies from sponsors. The food was great after the race. Loved the cookies, popcorn and soda. Thanks for the healthy choices too of assorted fruit and water. The shirt design is nice and something I’ll wear again. If you are a runner that doesn’t enjoy hills, then this race isn’t for you. This race is one hill after another. I will do this race again next year.
