Description: XTERRA Sugar Bottom is an off-road triathlon at the Sugar Bottom recreation area. This is the only XTERRA race in Iowa at the best trails in the state! We’re excited for our second edition of the race so come out and race July 31, 2011. Go fast and get dirty!

Ran this last year with Team Running Wall. The course is very tough and I’m just glad I suckered two others into swimming and biking. We’re signed up again this year. Come join us y’all!
Cost was decent…not much to compare it with.
Race route is killer, so it’s awesome, if you like a challenge
Organization was good, especially considering it was the first one last year and they had to deal with flooding
Post Race was also fun. Jay almost won a wetsuit!
